Tried & Tested: ZUII Organic Eyeliner

There’s a big myth that natural makeup products don’t work so well. I’m hoping to dispel that myth, one brilliant product at a time. Case in point: Zuii Organic Eyeliners.

Eyeliner has long been a staple of my makeup bag, just sitting behind mascara, so I know a thing or two about what makes a good product.

Uniquely formulated to ensure ease of application, Zuii Organic eyeliner pencils will glide on effortlessly, rich a8c54e10acbf832792a6a100c2779d46and creamy you wont have to worry about the staying power of and colour intensity. The organic formula is perfect for most sensitive eyes.

These eyeliners come in three gorgeous shades: Brown, Emerald & Black.

A little about Zuii Organics:

Zuii Certified Organics has embraced the essence of nature with a unique blend of Certified Organic Flora products and ingredients to nurture, protect and improve the health of your skin. Zuii’s innovative product development team constantly strives to create products specifically designed to benefit, nourish and protect the health of your skin and body.

I love Zuii Organic because they are:

  • Not tested on animals,
  • Contain no petrochemicals, parabens, talc or GM ingredients

My Verdict

They last all day and don’t smudge. Compared to some other natural eyeliners I’ve used, that is a massive plus.

The texture is smooth and easy to apply. You know how some eyeliners are really hard and you have to push pretty hard to get the pigment to apply? I really hate that as it tends to drag your eyelid which is super bad for them and also gives you a bumpy line. Zuii glides on, leaving behind a strong, highly pigmented colour.

See below – the line to the left is drawn straight on; to the right I’ve shaded gently to create different depths. Because the pigments are quite strong and the pencil soft, you can easily vary the amount that goes on. Press lightly and you can create an eyeshadow, or draw straight on for a liner.

As a contact lense wearer, it’s really important to me that the product won’t bleed or sting my eyes. I can safely say I have never had a problem with Zuii over my many months of wear.

The only negative I have about this product is that it’s only available in three colours. I’m hoping they start making more colours soon as I love their formulas.

Not sure what colour to choose?

Brown and black look brilliant with all eye colours and green will make brown eyes pop. Green also pairs well with blue eyes as a fun contrast.
