Review:

I have been using the shade Dusty Rose for some time now and it is just perfect. It’s not entirely red/pink, it has brownish undertones which really warm up the complexion, to create a very natural looking cheek colour. You may remember me mentioning it earlier, in my everyday makeup essentials post.IMG_8133

As a cheek tint:

It’s nice and creamy, so it blends easily. There’s nothing worse than applying a cream blush that wont budge!

Creams are really easy to use. I’ve long been a powder blush girl but recently making the move to creams as they look less powdery and more youthful. More like a natural flush really. Tip: start the application directly below your pupil and blend out. Starting close to the centre of your face and then blending out can end up pretty messy – you want to avoid any redness bleeding in towards your nose. I figured this tip out after numerous times ending up with a red face!

The formula’s non-sticky and non-greasy. The matte finish makes it perfect for all day wear too.

What I love about this stick is that the colour’s quite build-able. Apply more for a richer colour, or less for a subtle glow.

As a lip colour:

It works just as well as a lip tint too. Lasting for a good couple of hours. I do apply all lip products pretty sparingly though so I’m probably not getting maximum wear!

Tip: You can use these sticks near your eyes too, i.e. as an eyeshadow. However as I bought a red shade I wasn’t game to put that on my eyes! Lady Gaga (circa Superbowl 2016) may be the only woman in the world who can pull that off.

As for longevity, the colour seems to last longer than other cream blushes/tints I’ve tried.

Would definitely buy again.
