Tried & Tested: KORA Luxurious Rosehip Oil

If you could use a product/s that could help you look like Miranda Kerr would you try it? My hand is up! So when the divine Miranda Kerr released her own range of skincare products I was first in line to give them a go.

When I first bought this product I though the $49.95 price tag was a little steep for a Rosehip Oil. Upon closer investigation I saw that this wasn’t just a rosehip oil. The name is pretty deceptive.

We know rosehip oil has so many powerful properties (refresh your memory here), and is great as is. But what this little product is, is an oil blend with Noni extract, jasmine, sea buckthorn, rose and pomegranate oils. Miranda swears by Noni juice and claims her & her family have been drinking it for yonks. It makes sense she would pump her range full of the stuff! Apparently the antioxidants in Noni juice is incredibly nutritious for the skin, full of vitamins and minerals.

About KORA Luxurious Rosehip Oil

A carefully blended powerful treatment oil combining Noni Extract, Organic Rosehip Oil, Jasmine, Sea Buckthorn, Rose and Pomegranate Oils for the ultimate skin treatment. KORA Organics Luxurious Rosehip Oil provides the skin with a rich source of antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Essential fatty acids main function is their ability to counteract the drying effects of sun exposure and other environmental influences that lead to signs of aging and age related skin damage.

My review

It’s a clear, lightly scented (a little bit like rose) oil, and a little goes a long way. It doesn’t take long for the oil to soak into your skin and leave it feeling really supple. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or oily like many oil products do.

I use it morning and night and have no issues with applying makeup after (I do apply oils and/or moisturiser first thing in the morning, eat breakfast and then return to  makeup. I find this way it can sink in a little first and wont mix with my BB Cream).

One pump is more than enough to cover your face and neck. Don’t overuse, you’ll just be wasting it. Less is more in the case of oils.

A big downside is the price. It’s not cheap at $49.95 and that will only buy you a 15ml bottle. Is it worth it? Well I think that really comes down to the individual user. I really like this product and am now onto my third bottle. I don’t look like Miranda (yet) but it does leave my skin looking and feeling healthy.

Suitable for:

It’s great for dry and oily skin types, and really good if you’re an acne sufferer. It’s not a miracle worker though in itself. Sorry to say, but it’s not going to turn you into a Victoria’s Secret model anytime soon.

4/5. It is a great product and worth trying.

Don’t buy it, forget about it and then use it a few months later. Sounds like a crazy tip? Well I’m trying to save you wasting your money  and seeing it go off before you use it. Yes I did this.

This is a natural product, it’s got an expiry date. If you want to keep it fresh for longer, store it in the fridge.

You can also pick up the range from David Jones and many pharmacies. Yay!

And for the final word from Ms Kerr herself,

I love to apply this on my face every night and I also love to use it when I’m travelling on airplanes to keep my skin hydrated. – Miranda
