March: What I’m Loving Right Now

You know how sometimes you get hooked on a product, item of clothing or food and seem to just devour it for ages? This happens to me a fair bit. When I was a teen I was obsessed with Maggi 2 minute noodles. I would eat them as often as I could, and not much else. Oddly my mum thought I was anorexic (she clearly didn’t check the nutrition content) because I would be eating them once or twice a day.

Fortunately I gave up that habit after a month or two, and now I’ve moved to far healthier obsessions. These days it’s more likely a sneaky block of raw chocolate that I’m munching on daily, or this awesome Samantha Wills necklace my sister gave me that I’m positive goes with every outfit.

On that note, I want to share what I’m obsessed with this month and why I think you might love it too.

My 5 favourite things this month, in no particular order:

1. 100% Pure Mascara in black tea

I’m not one to pick favourites in my make-up kit, but this stuff is awesome! It has a tiny wand so it’s super easy to control and apply. But it’s also fantastically volumising!

It’s a lengthening mascara that separates, thickens, and conditions lashes for a water and smudge resistant look. Lasts all day, doesn’t flake, oh I could go on all day about this stuff.

31wn6wJ2FaL._SY355_On a side note, it smells divine, every time I use it I’m tempted to lick it… I’m not even kidding. If I cave one day I’ll report back and tell you how it went. As it’s made from 100% pure ingredients (hence the name) it wouldn’t even be all that bad if I did go in for a lick 😉

Buy it from or directly from the manufacturer. Note: I’m not affiliated with either company or brand and don’t receive any kickback.

2. PureHarvest Coco² Original

Otherwise known as legal crack. So gooooooood!

1_COCO2_Range-1024x512Pureharvest Coco² Original is a delicious, all natural chocolate spread made from coconut and cocoa, naturally sweetened with Rice Malt Syrup.Because it’s sweetened with rice malt syrup, it’s fructose-free. It contains the goodness of organic coconut oil and organic cocoa, making it a nutritious and healthy alternative to regular chocolate spread. It’s basically a rich, chocolatey and decadent spread.

It comes in other flavours too, which I’m yet to try but am sure they’ll be just as delicious. It is still a ‘dessert’ food, which means it should be eaten in moderation. But who am I kidding, pass me a spoon!

Pureharvest recommends eating on breads or toast, in smoothies, or as a chocolate tart filling, warmed up for fondue, or simply enjoyed straight from the jar.

3. Lipstick

zuii lipsticksNever thought I would say that, but lipsticks kind of rock! I bought a sample bag of pinks & nudes from the Zuii range and have been giving them quite a good run for my money. I think I’m ready to progress to the big girl stuff and buy an actual tube!

I’m especially loving the shade, Sheer Rose. It’s so pretty and just gives that extra boost to your face, bringing out all your features. I’ll have to post about them all soon, but needless to say, I’m impressed.

Read more about my lipstick love affair here, or buy the Zuii range here.

4. Beef Stroganoff

So technically it’s not me who’s loving it this month (although it is delicious), it’s my partner. I swear he’s been requesting this dish without fail, AT LEAST once a week. I like to mix it up in the kitchen and generally won’t repeat a recipe for a good 4-6 months. The boyf isn’t standing for that though and insisting I make it again, and again, and again. It is pretty dam delicious though so I’ll oblige.

Forgotten my recipe? Find it again here.

5. B-School

I mentioned earlier that I had enrolled in Marie Forleo’s B-School. And I’m so glad I did! I feel like my life has been turned upside down, shaken all around and then reassembled into something brighter and more inspiring than I ever thought possible. I started with a vague business idea, and it’s shifted into something entirely new and way more exciting. I’m super pumped about bringing this business to life. It’s something I’ve been passionate about for years but been too scared to bring to life. Not any more!

If you’re considering doing B-School I highly recommend it (enrollment will open again next year). You can find out more about B-School here or about Marie Forleo here.

Are you obsessing over anything this month? What do you want to share with me?

Please note: I’m not affiliated nor do I receive payment of any kind from any of the brands/products I’ve featured. I do however receive compliments and affection from my boyfriend when I make dinner, but unfortunately no money. I also pay for all the products I use. If someone would like to pay me or send me free stuff, please feel free to. Contact me and I’ll happily send you my bank account/address details :-)

I’ll just leave you with this:
