Tried & Tested: ACURE Organic Shampoo & Conditioner

Introducing ACURE Organics. ACURE Organics is a beautiful range of skin, hair and body care products based on ‘Green Science’ technology. This range is infused with Argan oil, CoQ10, Sea Buckthorn, Omega 7 combined with plant stem cell technology.

You might have noticed I’ve been pretty quiet on the hair care department, with most of my focus on organic makeup & skin care reviews. This is not due to my lack of trialling, but rather my general disapointment. A lot of products I’ve tried are drying, or don’t detangle properly or on the opposite end, leave my hair feeling greasy. Finally I’ve found something I want to share.

What I’ve been using:

ACURE organic shampoo conditioner

lemongrass + argan stem cell shampoo

  • Keratin Boosting Complex
  • Everyday Clarifying Shampoo
  • For All Hair Types

This clarifying shampoo is gentle enough for everyday use for all hair types. Promotes shiny, healthy, clean hair. Organic Argan Oil, Argan Stem Cells + CoQ10 help support hair keratin and strengthen the follicle connection. Organic Avocado Oil provides vitamin B12 and moisture while lemongrass cleanses and clarifies. Safe for colour treated hair.

It cleans well and removes all the gunk from all the volumising products I love. I really like that it doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry though. I’ve skipped conditioner before and found my hair still felt soft and silky.

This shampoo does not contain SLS (the stuff that makes cleaners foam) so you won’t always get a thick foam. Not a bad foam, just not comparable to your standard grocery store shampoo. If my hair’s particularly dirty I’ll wash it twice to help get the foaming action going.

lemongrass + argan stem cell conditioner

  • Keratin Building Complex
  • Daily Nourishing Conditioner
  • For All Hair Types

This daily nourishing conditioner provides vital moisture to combat everyday tangles and buildup. Promotes shiny, soft, healthy, clean hair. Organic Argan Oil, Argan Stem Cells + CoQ10 help support hair keratin and strengthen the follicle connection. Organic Fair Trade Certified Cocoa Butter provides moisture. Safe for colour treated hair.

You only need a tiny bit of this super nourishing condioner. Trust me, a little goes a long way! A pea sized amount will distribute all over my hair easily. It instantly detangles and leaves it feeling silky and soft. It seems like a really rich conditioner, but it never weighs down my very fine hair. It’s pretty amazing stuff!

The final word:

I’ve got really thin fine hair so I hate anything to feel heavy. I need to wash my hair every 2-3 days as any oil will make it look thinner, plus my psoriasis will get too unbearable if I leave washing it any longer. This range is perfect for frequent use.

Both these products live up to the hype. They leave my hair feeling really strong and healthy. I live in a hard water area which has reeked havoc on my hair before, making it feel dry and straw-like. I’ve all but forgotten about this old problem since switching to ACURE.

Despite how nourishing the conditioner is, it’s still just as great for all hair types from dry to fine or oily hair. As a bonus, they both smell amazing too! My hair always feels fresh & light after using these products.

To summarise, this range provides fantastic hydration without weighing hair down.
